The Brief
AI is already here. But how is Africa responding?
OngeaAI is a thought-provoking podcast that explores how Artificial Intelligence is being adopted, challenged, and understood across the continent with a special lens on Kenya.
The aim: spark dialogue, decode hype, and center African voices in the global AI conversation.
What We Produced
Podcast Production
We conceptualized and produced Season 1 of OngeaAI, a foundational series that blends expert interviews, current case studies, and real-world reflections from professionals already engaging with AI tools in Africa.
Sound Design & Editorial
We designed a sonic identity that feels clean, modern, and rooted in the continent, balancing professional polish with an approachable tone.
Regional Relevance
Through localized examples, Swahili phrases, and sector-specific interviews, we ensured that OngeaAI felt truly African in content, not just context. Season 1 laid the foundation by exploring topics such as: What is AI and how prepared is Africa?, Is Kenya ready for AI?, AI and Creative Services: The Future of Graphic Design, Music in the Age of Machines: AI and African Musicians, Literary Integrity: Is AI “cheating” in writing?, Actors vs Algorithms: Lessons from the U.S. and Impacts on Kenya’s Film Industry, and AI Laws & Loopholes: Policy and Regulation in Kenya. The podcast featured inspiring creatives and tech minds from across East and West Africa, including the legendary Malik Afegbua, Nairobi Design Week founder Adrian Jankowiak, Sydney Scott Sam from Workspace Global, music artist and AI innovator Eclipse Nkasi, and Joan Mbesya, CEO of TechMindset.
